Filler words
What are filler words?
Filler words are sounds and phrases like 'um', 'uh', 'like', 'so', and 'you know' that fill pauses while you think. A few are natural and human; frequent fillers can make you sound less certain than you are.
How do you reduce filler words?
The most effective fix isn't eliminating them — it's replacing them with a silent pause, which actually reads as more confident and considered.
SURGO's voice analysis counts your fillers per session so you can see the trend fall as you practice.
Turn understanding into measured confidence.
